You guys had it easy! When I started we had to make our own clay tablets.

Ok, so I am exaggerating. My first tech writing job involved a pad of
paper and a pencil. Our formatting department typeset it on a laser
typesetter. Geez! I even automated the place by bringing in my own
computer.
