Boy, isn't that the truth? Seems I'm constantly requested to post
Powerpoint presentations on our Intranet or WWW site by folks who apparently
assume that looking at the clip art and the bullets will magically enable
people to hear in their minds the words that were spoken when the
presentation was first given live. When there's a conflict that goes to
arbitration or court, I wonder how judges feel about powerpoint slides as
policy evidence.

But, this is exactly what a tech writer is for ... to make something useful
out of (really) rough drafts. It's not hard, it's the job.
