Offhand, I'd be concerned about colour reproduction. I recently copied TIF,
JPG and GIF versions of a two-colour graphic into a single document for
exactly the kind of comparison you're talking about, and I noted some
significant differences in colour between the TIF sources and the other two
file formats.
