Given your current projects, how valuable are product
design documents or specifications?

* Extremely: Specs are my only source of information
* Very: Specs are a key source of information
* Moderately: Specs are sometimes useful
* Not Very: Specs are rarely informative
* Not at All: What specs? They do not exist here
* Other/none of the above

At my current position I have a unique opportunity. I get to create
those specs. Unfortunately that means that I have to decompose the
code (reverse engineering) in order to create the specification. This
is made a little more difficult since this is a Java application with
a client-server relationship, a major SQL database, and dependency
upon Weblogic to complete the process.

The specs do not exist, but I will create them. What a life.

Scott
