STC's special opportunities committee awards one-time grant funding for
amounts up to $10,000. To qualify for STC special opportunities grant
funding, a special opportunity must be a controlled activity that can
develop and communicate new and non-proprietary information to the STC
membership.
The next deadline is February 15, 2001. The guidelines for special
opportunities grants are available from the STC office Web site (go to
www.stc-va.org and select "Grants and Loans," then scroll down to "Special
Opportunities Grants"), or from the STC office at (703) 522-4114.
