I'll often ask them to clarify what, belonging to it, they are referring to.
It winds them up sometimes but, in general, they eventually learn to get it
right (at least in corresponding with me).

I get equally incensed with grocers' apostrophes (or should that be
apostrophe's?) and plurals (mostly of acronyms) that somehow gain an
apostrophe.
