The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Hi Dan,
I have read parts of "The User Manual Manual" and find it enjoyable and
informative.
I bought Barker's "Writing Software Documentation" and dipped into it a
bit but it doesn't seem quite as "user-friendly," if you'll pardon the
pun. Offhand, I can't tell you why.
I haven't seen the others, but based on the Bremer book I do have, I will
get "Untechnical Writing" whenever I see it at Computer Literacy.
HTH,
Ann
