> * Planning (e.g., initial research, estimating)
> * Interviewing and working with SMEs
> * Working with others on the docs team
> * Experimenting with the product you are documenting

> * Doing DTP, illustrations, or page design
> * Using new software (e.g., for Web page design)
> * Navigating corporate political issues
> * Other/none of the above
Well, I did finally choose "Interviewing and working with SMEs". What I love
most about technical writing is learning. I love that I get to learn new
things every day (or most days). I don't have a degree in the field that I'm
writing about, but I learn quickly, and I like to learn. I figured that it
was working wit SMEs where I learned the most, so I picked that. For me,
it's like being in school but with no homework and tests.
