Oh, Anna, I feel for you! One of the elements in my job description said:
"Develop training courseware for all company products, including writing
and upgrading existing training manuals." This "upgrading" portion
consisted of copying info from a Notes database, pasting it into Word, and
applying the character and paragraph styles I established in the style
guide (to "make it pretty"). This took me nearly three months - talk about
being "glum" - I was close to committing myself to an insane asylum!
