Print your word doc to file using Adobe Distiller (or whatever printer you
use when you print to file) as your printer. A .prn file will be created.
Open Acrobat Distiller and, from the menu, select File>Open. This will allow
you to browse out to where you saved the .prn file.
Double click on your .prn file and Acrobat will ask you about a .pdf file
name/location in the standard browser window.
Name the .pdf and Distiller will start distilling.

HTH,
Kelli
