the product based on an existing industry GUI, such as
Motif, or is this a proprietary GUI? If the former,
there are usually programmer style guides that indicate
what you should call each piece of the interface.
If it's a proprietary GUI, it probably is pretty much
up to how the team interprets common industry nomenclature.
