But ForeHelp does let you import MIF files into an empty project directory.
I did it last week with a sample file and ForeHelp 4.

Before you can do this though, you will need to go to the ForeHelp web site
(www.forehelp.com) and download the ForeHelp 4.01 update that will fix the
problem they had with Frame imports. There is no charge for the patch.

Once you have installed the path, use Michele's process to create the empty
project. They start the wizard again and follow these steps:
    -Chose Create from Existing Doc Files.
    -Choose FrameMaker (fm) Documents.
    -Browse for the path to the Frame file(s) and select the file(s).
    -Enter a name for the project and browse to the empty project directory
you created.
    -Select the type of project it will be. (i.e. WinHelp, HTML Help,
InterHelp, etc.)
    -Select your Import Options.
    -Enter a project title.
    -Click Finish in the project summary dialog box.

I've already decided I've got to play with the Import Options to get what I
want to happen in the help file. And I've got to work with ForeHelp
templates and understand them before I jump into this with both feet. But
I'd have to do the same using WWP.
