Janet, your point is well taken. Any institutions, e.g., governments,
companies, etc, can only take our liberties if we let them. Is
pre-employment DNA testing next? The logic is the same since a company
could claim it has increased medical benefits costs if an employee has a
genetic marker for a particular disease.

How do we change this apparent flow of history? By not being indifferent to
it.

To paraphrase Ben Franklin...for want of liberty, our republic was lost.
