In my It career, I've only had to tinkle in the cup once. I was working at
a consulting agency and had to submit to a drug test as part of the client's
requirements (it was NOT a routine requirement of the company that actually
signed my checks). Since I helped with the original RFP response to this
client, it wasn't a surprise. I didn't like it, but figured it wasn't worth
putting up a stink about.
If I were confronted with in the market today, I'm not sure how I would
respond. Guess it would depend on how badly I wanted that particular job.
