Barbara:
Could you be more specific about your lists question? I can't quite make out
what you object to.
You highlight in Frame just like in any other application: click and drag with
the mouse or use the keyboard SHIFT+cursor.
There are keyboard shortcuts for most things. Paragraph Designer CTRL+M,
Character Designer CTRL+D, Select All CTRL+A, and so on.
To insert a graphic, File > Import > File. Having browsed to the correct file,
you are presented with an opportunity to select whether to copy into doc or by
reference, choose proper conversion, and select resolution. It's not that there
are more steps, it's just that necessary steps come up front when you bring the
graphic into the doc.
Why are macros not included? You got me. It's a big omission.
The Online Help in 5.5 is not easy to use, but the Help in 6 is better (or at
least easier if for no other reason than it's familiar, though it uses
traditional WinHelp 4, which is rather long in the tooth now).
