My previous responses don't seem to have made it through, so I'll try once
more. Dataloom, Inc. is indeed a pre-IPO XML shop which has been operating
in relative stealth mode. We do not have a public website with information
about our company or products yet, though one is in the works. When we have
a public site, it will be compatible with many browsers and versions.
The web page that launched the hullaballoo is a private gateway to our
suite of XML web-based applications. We provide potential investors,
clients, and partners with accounts so they can demo our pre-beta code. We
do have paying customers, despite being months away from release.
We are not arrogant, heedless, or moronic. We are simply a group of
hard-working people with a focus on the product right now. When we get
another writer, we can probably put a public website together.
My apologies to the list for the hubub this created. I'd be happy to
respond to any questions or comments you have about Dataloom and our
opening--off list.
Cheers,
Lori Dirks
