Hello:

One nuance of CAPABLE, when used in reference
to living beings, denotes an implied proclivity,
tendency or moral inclination.

When speaking of inanimate technical objects, capability is almost always synonymous with ability, unless alluding to artificial intelligence at a level at which humanisms are allowed.
