PDAs (was RE: movie ad)

I spend (waste) a fair amount of time over the course of a week manually
"syncing" my Outlook calendar with my day planner or vice versa.  I'm almost
obsessive about being organized and on time for meetings, and I feel much
more in control of my life when I know that whichever planner I'm looking at
is accurate.  :)

I've been eyeing the Handspring Visor or Visor Deluxe (cheaper than the Palm
series, which is the main reason I'm even looking at them).  Does anybody
out there have one model or the other of the Visors?  Does it have an
features (besides the calendar/planner) that you find especially useful as a
technical communicator?  Does it make you seem more "techie" to the SMEs
you're working with?  Also, I'm assuming that since the Visor and the Palm
series both use the Palm OS that the same core applications are available on
both products.
