A colleague of mine encountered the following problem while trying to rid a
Word 97 document of a macro he wrote. Have anyone out there encountered and
solved the problem before?
My colleague writes:
I created a word document and a VBA routine (macro) that imports contact
information from an Access database. As I only needed to run the routine
for this document, I save it in the document itself. When I was done with
the macro, I removed it from the document so that other's receiving the
document would not have to be challenged with that "The document you are
opening contains macros..." dialog. I saved and closed the document. When
I reopened it, the message was there again. I searched throughout the
"Document" and "(General)" sections of the VBA code editor for any relic
code and found none. What do I need to do to silence this dialog?
