Whoa baby! I took enormous offense to this post from Dan, I happen to have a BA
in English Lit, with a minor in French (yup, pretty fluent) and Cinema (a total
movie hound), an MA in English Lit, and an MFA in Creative Writing. On top of
that I am a highly paid, incredibly successful technical consultant. Did you
read that? Technical consultant. I write fiction on the side and make meager
amounts of money for my hysterically funny stories, but my bread-n-butter comes
from being highly technical and being able to break down technical concepts for
people that are technically-phobic. Argh! Narrow minds equals what??? Isn't a
liberal arts education supposed to set you up for anything? My ex had a degree
in psychology and ended up as a programmer/project lead for Postal, but he can't
even remember who Pavlov was...
