Hello Eileen

There are some differences in the file formats, but in general, there is no
problem moving up. Once you do some work in Word 2000, though, they will not
work properly in Word 97.

Is there any difference in file formats between Word 97 and
Word 2000? Can you use Word 97 files in Word 2000
transparently?
