A quick question: I'm a technical writer/project manager looking at a senior
project managers position. Slighly off-topic, except that I know many
writers have become project managers--not just of doc groups, but for
product lines and development groups, departments, etc. There's a logical
overlap of skills.
Does anyone here have an idea what the salary range for senior-level project
managers might be? The position is very senior and requires a strong
management background, technical writing and communications experience,
skills w/ consensus building, history within the software development world,
yadda yadda, etc.
