Kathi Knill's manager is about to buy a HAT and she must be stopped
(according to Kathi).

<<I need supporting information for my manager who is deciding between
ForeHelp and WebWorks Publisher for creating both JavaHelp and HTML help? We
currently use Frame for documentation.>>

Lief Erickson responds:

Um...why are you buying now? FrameMaker 6 will be released next month and
includes WebWorks Publisher. Granted it's not the full-blown professional
edition, but...it's free (until you have to upgrade to the full edition).

ForeHelp is a completely capable product and now that ForeFront has included
MIF support, it is much better suited to work with FrameMaker.

However, I would suggest mif2go. It is created by Omni Systems
(www.omsys.com). It's only $295 and is FULLY integrated with FrameMaker. I
use it and it can create RTF, WinHelp, HTML 3.2/4.0, DHTML, JavaHelp, XML,
and more. There's also unlimited free support, which is the best I've ever
encountered.

I worked with all three, each is different and offers different pros and
cons.
