That's great if you *know* you're being lied to or lied about. Sometimes it happens behind your back (been there, done that) and you don't realize it until it's too late.

That's great unless his supervisor (and his supervisor's supervisor) are also partners in the same big lie (been there, done that).

Sometimes all you can do is just cut your losses and leave.
