How true, for the most part. The only thing is the latest Strunk and White
does not take into account the major changes made to the English language in
August 1998 by Oxford University, i.e., split infinitives are acceptable,
dangling prepositions are acceptable, and "s" no longer exists in words like
"minimized" (except for older people who are just too used to writing
"minimised" and a few stubborn language purists who didn't accept the
changes). But other than that, Strunk and White's still is pretty good.
