For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
If you don't need a lot of PDF functionality (hyperlinks, bookmarks,
..) try HotSend instead of PDF. This is free (http://www.hotsend.com),
looks a lot like PDF to the recipient, and can be delivered as an EXE
file for PC users. If some of your distribution is to Mac users, you
have to instruct them to download a free reader and then send an HOT
file instead, so this is not quite as platform-blind as PDF. But if you
know you don't have Mac users in the loop, it might solve your problem.
