I'd vote for putting the steps in the logical order for the procedures. It's
much easier for the user that way. If possible, to reduce the confusion
regarding the order of the widgets on the screen, you could include screen
shots at appropriate spots in the documentation with arrows or some such
pointing out the appropriate widget...
So, which is better? Put the procedure in the order of widgets on the
screen?
Or put the steps in a logical order, and have the user bouncing around on
the
screen looking for the corresponding widgets? (All of the widgets are right
next to each other, so it's not like the user will need to scroll around
looking for them.)
