From the PoV of many product managers, good
tech writing is not one of the key
"deliverables", they being for e.g.:
1. done on time
2. all subjects covered
3. DTP and/or help programming done properly
4. good spelling / version number
5. respect legal requirements

Success means meeting expectations. Writing
technique may not be among them.
