I use the Snapshot tool, which is provided by Sun as part of
the CDE Environment. Click your right mouse button on an empty
desktop area, and you should find it under PROGRAMS. ImageMagick
also does a good job of grabbing screen captures, plus it has
wonderful file conversion capabilities.
