Yes, but if it's spelled with a 'ph' instead of an 'f' and if 'beryl' is
placed before 'bob.'
Per Webster's, "lexicographical" means of or relating to "lexicography"
which means the editing or making of a dictionary; the principles and
practices of dictionary making.

Subject: character string order
I have a bunch of character strings that are sorted as follows:
adam < armageddon < bob < beryl
The programmers are calling this "lexicografical order", but the closest
I've found is "lexicografic". Does the word "lexicografical" exist?
Does either of these words describe the order I'm using?
Thanks!
- Benzi
